The National Conference on Tobacco or Health (NCTOH) is one of the largest, long-standing gatherings of the United States tobacco control movement. The convening attracts a diverse set of public health professionals to learn about best practices and policies to reduce commercial tobacco us- the leading preventable cause of disease and death in the United States.

Conference Purpose
The purpose of the National Conference on Tobacco or Health is to help improve and sustain the effectiveness and reach of tobacco control programs and activities in the United States.

NCTOH references to tobacco refer to commercial tobacco and not the sacred and traditional use of tobacco by some American Indian communities.
