With a rapidly growing population of cancer survivors, comprehensive care is increasingly important to ensure highest quality of life for this population. This level of care can include prevention of late effects, surveillance for recurrence screening, interventions for both physical and psychological consequences of cancer and its treatment and coordination between multiple care providers.
This 30-minute “coffee break” webinar outlines survivorship needs and long-term effects and potential psychosocial and practical impacts. The session includes information on incorporating cancer survivorship care and care plans within a behavioral health or integrated care setting, and outlines how behavioral healthcare professionals can promote healthy living for cancer survivors.
