Let’s Talk – Colorectal Cancer and Mental Wellbeing

Original Air Date: March 24th, 12:00 – 1:00 pm ET

Individuals with mental health and substance use challenges have lower-than-average cancer screening rates and are at greater risk of developing colorectal cancer than the general population.
Integrating conversations around mental wellbeing and colorectal cancer in mental health and substance use treatment settings encourages cancer prevention and provides better psychosocial support for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.

Join Fight Colorectal Cancer and the National Behavioral Health Network for Tobacco & Cancer Control on Thursday, March 24, 12 – 1 p.m. ET for a discussion around supporting individuals with mental health and substance use challenges who are at-risk for or are living with colorectal cancer.
