The Pennsylvania Department of Health, Division of Cancer Prevention and Control, is pleased to announce the Improving LGBT Patient Provider Relationships webinar presentation on April 20th, 2017 from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM (EDT).  This webinar focuses on improving the relationship between LGBT patients and their providers by increasing provider’s LGBT cultural competency and sharing best practices that can be implemented at the provider’s facility. A moderated Q&A session will follow.. The speakers for the webinar are: Physician General Dr. Rachel Levine of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Liz Bradbury from the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center, Adrian Shanker from the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center, and Dr. Regina Washington from LGBT HealthLink, a program of CenterLink (a CDC tobacco and cancer disparity network) .  The moderator will be Dr. Joel Noumoff Chairman, Pennsylvania Cancer Control, Prevention and Research Advisory Board and Gynecologic Oncologist for the Crozer‐Keystone Health System.  The webinar flyer with a link to register is attached to this email.  You may also register by visiting https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/7484509071849135617.
