This research-to-practice conversation with state health department and research perspectives will address challenges and successes of addressing e-cigarette use as it relates to legalization of marijuana, as well as research on the intersection of these two products.

During the call, you will hear from Frances Limtiaco, the tobacco control program manager from the Washington State Department of Health and the state marijuana program manager, Steven Smothers. They will be joined by Dr. Suchitra Krishnan-Sarin who co-authored High School Students’ Use of Electronic Cigarettes to Vaporize Cannabis. The event will be discussion-based, with speakers participating via webcam. Grab your favorite mug and join for a rich discussion. Following the speakers’ remarks, ASTHO will facilitate Q&A from the audience.
